SO beautiful, It's calm and serene. I like it

a) because it's such a soft shade of my favorite color, it's like if I were to touch the flower, it would feel like a puff of cotton and if I were to touch the background it would feel like a silk scarf.

b) Because it looks like it could go on forever in an infinite sea of soft blue.

c) I know it's summer or a least spring when most flowers bloom, but you've created a cold atmosphere for these flowers. It's a confusion of emotions, warm? Cold? Who knows.

Wonderful Work. I love it.

As soon as I saw this photo I thought to myself. "Gosh, I really have to critique this". I'm going to work backwards on this critique for a reason I'll make clear later.

Firstly Impact. And wow, what an impact it is! The fragile blue flowers floating effortlessly across my screen... I have to admit that I let out a little sigh of pure joy. Brilliance is all I can say, complete and utter brilliance. The impact isn't of horror, or even of surprise but just of sheer happiness to be seeing such a calm and serene piece of art. Beautiful.

Now onto Technique. Well I don't know what your technique is, but it sure works well! I'm not sure if you edited this photo or not but if you did it's worked perfectly, the foreground and background flow seamlessly into each other with a real sense of depth. Again. Beautiful.

I'm now going to touch on Originality. Well, what can I say? I've seen a LOT of photos but I've never seen one quite like this, completely unique. The angle, the flowers, the colour. Everything. Purely Original.

And finally Vision. Now I've left this till last because this is the first thing I have to say about this picture which isn't all complete praise. I'm one of those people which has to nitpick to find at least one thing that I don't like in a photo, otherwise my critique isn't constructive and I might as well say "FABULOUS!",

it and be done with it. Anyway, enough babbling from me. The vision is one of pureness, serenity and calm. But one little thing bothers me. The flowers at the very front are blurry, blocking out the flowers behind. It's only a small thing, but it bothers me somehow. It's definitely a personal thing - I'm one of those straight people who like the foreground to be in focus and the background to be blurry. And nothing else will please me. However, looking at it from a different perspective I can see the added depth the it brings to the photo. And that's that - the only negative that I hold against this glorious photo.
